As an IT Tech Assistant, you will be responsible for providing customer support related to computer hardware and software. This includes troubleshooting and resolving various computer-related issues that faculty, students, and staff may encounter. You will also be tasked with software installation and updates, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, maintaining the cleanliness of computer hardware and keeping printers fully supplied with necessary materials such as paper and toner/ink will be part of your daily responsibilities. The role requires effective communication skills, as you will be answering tech-related phone calls, messages, and emails. Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support in computer hardware and software for faculty, students, and staff.
  • Work with faculty, students, and staff to solve computer-related issues.
  • Perform software installation and updates.
  • Clean computer hardware.
  • Keep printers fully supplied with paper, toner, and ink.
  • Answer tech phones, messages, and emails.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of customer service is required.
  • Preferred knowledge in Mac OS, Windows OS, Adobe Products, and Microsoft Office, but not required.
