About the position

The KCP Swim Instructor position at the University of Michigan involves providing beginning and intermediate group swim lessons to adults. The instructor will be responsible for monitoring, demonstrating, and instructing students on proper swimming techniques, tactics, and strategies to enhance their strokes and overall swimming ability. Additionally, the instructor will enforce all facility policies, rules, and regulations to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. This role is part-time, requiring approximately 3 hours of work per week, specifically on Sundays from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Whitmore Lake Community Pool. Since the classes are off-campus, the instructor must have their own transportation to commute to the location. The position is temporary and is part of the Kinesiology Community Programs (KCP) offered by the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan.
