About the position

Kelly Professional & Industrial is excited to offer an opportunity in the medical device industry for the position of Medical Device Production in Lakeland, FL. Our client is a leading provider of reprocessing and remanufacturing services for medical devices, recognized as the #1 Best Workplace in Manufacturing and Production since 2017. This role involves working in a cleanroom environment where you will be responsible for visually inspecting products to ensure they are clean and undamaged. You will also be sorting, disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling surgical devices while following strict work instructions and documenting daily activities. Adherence to a clean-room dress code is mandatory, which prohibits make-up, artificial nails, artificial eyelashes, nail polish, jewelry, or piercings. The position offers two shifts: the first shift runs from 5 am to 3:30 pm, and the second shift from 4 pm to 2:30 am, Monday through Friday. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour for the first shift and $16.00 per hour for the second shift. Employees may be required to work up to two Saturdays each month. This is a full-time position with overtime opportunities available. No previous experience or education is required to get started, as a hands-on paid training program will be provided. Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect products to ensure they are clean and undamaged.
  • Sort, disassemble, clean, and reassemble surgical devices in a cleanroom environment.
  • Follow strict work instructions and document daily activity.
  • Adhere to a clean-room environment dress code.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand, kneel, walk, bend, sit, lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds throughout a full 10-hour shift.
  • Good manual dexterity and the ability to handle small parts.
  • Strong hand/eye coordination and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Detail-oriented with basic computer skills.
