Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain a well-stocked department
- Provide superior customer service
- Train and supervise Partners
- Schedule work and manage department operations
- Order products and ensure quality control
- Operate meat preparation and processing equipment
- Cut, trim, and prepare meat for service
- Maintain coolers and freezers
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Coach Partners on customer service
- Assist customers with product selections
Requirements
- Associate's degree or 6 months of related experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Expert knowledge of department production stations
- Knowledge of culinary and nutritional aspects of products
- Meat-cutting skills
- Computer skills including MS Office
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Telxon, IMS, Exporter, CIS
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operating documents
