About the position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking an experienced Outside Parts Sales Representative for our Anchorage Ford location. This position is crucial in our fast-paced parts department, which serves both technicians within the dealership and clients throughout the community. The primary responsibility of this role is to sell OEM and aftermarket parts to various clients, including auto body shops and independent repair facilities. The successful candidate will engage in sales through multiple channels such as phone, fax, email, internet, and direct sales, ensuring that our clients receive the best service and products available. This is not an entry-level position; we are looking for candidates who possess a solid background in automotive parts sales. Ideal candidates will have experience with inventory control and a thorough understanding of electronic parts catalogs, manufacturer programs, and warranties. Familiarity with manufacturer-specific catalogs is preferred, as it will enhance the ability to serve our clients effectively. The role requires a proactive approach to sales and customer service, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Sell OEM and aftermarket parts to auto body shops and independent repair facilities.
