About the position

The Kennel Attendant at Sunridge Animal Hospital plays a vital role in providing exceptional care for pets while ensuring a positive experience for clients. Responsibilities

• Provide care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, bathing, and exercising them.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kennel area.
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff.
• Assist in the handling and restraint of animals during examinations and treatments.
• Engage with clients to provide updates on their pets and answer any questions they may have.

Requirements

• Passion for animal care and welfare.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Basic knowledge of animal behavior and handling.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a veterinary or animal care setting.
• Certification in animal care or related field.
