About the position

The Kennel Attendant/Receptionist at Pawsh Pets LLC is a part-time role focused on providing care for boarded animals while also managing front desk responsibilities. Responsibilities

• Supervise playtime for dogs and cats.
• Clean cages and runs, ensuring a hygienic environment.
• Bathed, exercised, and fed boarded animals.
• Monitor the behavior of dogs and cats in the kennel.
• Interact with clients during pick-up and drop-off of pets.
• Answer phone calls and emails, providing information to clients.
• Process payments and maintain a friendly demeanor with clients.

Requirements

• 1 year of kennel experience with dogs and cats.
• 2 years of professional experience with animals, particularly large dogs.
• Ability to lift 40-pound bags of dog food and perform physical cleaning tasks.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with animal restraint and handling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
