Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and exercising pets as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness in kennels and common areas, ensuring all spaces are sanitized and safe for animals.
• Assist with animal restraint during examinations or treatments as directed by veterinary staff.
• Support pet grooming activities, including brushing and nail trimming when necessary.
• Provide companionship and socialization for pets to enhance their well-being.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of both animals and staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant, Veterinary Technician, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of animal care practices, including pet grooming and basic first aid for pets.
• Ability to handle various breeds of dogs and cats with confidence and compassion.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and pet owners.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and engage in activities such as walking or playing with pets throughout the day.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare is essential.
