Responsibilities
- Ensure that each person/family applying for public assistance receives the appropriate type and level of assistance.
- Assess the needs of individuals and families, providing them with relevant information and referrals to necessary agencies.
- Provide information about the expectations and goals of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).
- Encourage and guide families in their efforts to become self-supporting.
Requirements
- Experience in public assistance programs or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with families and agencies.
- Ability to assess needs and provide appropriate referrals.
