About the position

The Key Account Executive (KAE) for Google Cloud is responsible for promoting cloud solutions to strategic enterprise customers, particularly in the Insurance industry. This role involves leveraging existing relationships with C-level executives and developing new connections to understand their unique challenges and influence their technology decisions. The KAE will advocate for Google Cloud's innovative products and solutions, helping organizations enhance productivity and collaboration while driving digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Build executive relationships with strategic customer base to influence their long-term technology and business decisions.
  • Lead entire sales cycles, including presenting multi-year agreements to C-level executives and negotiating terms.
  • Develop account strategy to identify business growth opportunities, collaborating with multiple teams and Google Partners.
  • Manage global accounts with multiple opportunities, ensuring forecast and budgetary accuracy, and serving as the primary customer contact for adoption-related activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a business to business software company.
  • Experience selling to enterprise accounts and engaging with C-level executives.
  • Experience in or supporting the Insurance industry.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams in implementations and negotiations.
  • Experience with commercial and legal negotiations, working with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Experience collaborating with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads to define migration plans.
  • Experience cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives.
  • Experience selling Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, Analytic Tools, or Applications Software in the Insurance industry.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $138,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
