About the position

As a Key Account Manager for eCommerce at Red Bull, you will play a pivotal role in implementing strategies across various account types, including Brick & Click, Pure Play, and Delivery accounts. Reporting directly to the Director of eCommerce, your primary focus will be on advising Key Account teams on effective eCommerce strategies, developing comprehensive business plans, and leading projects aimed at enhancing online execution. You will be responsible for analyzing progress against established priorities and ensuring that Red Bull's objectives are met across all eCommerce platforms. Your responsibilities will include the development of annualized eCommerce business plans that align with both Red Bull's and customer account goals. You will partner closely with Red Bull Key Account teams to influence eCommerce priorities, manage programming calendars, drive onsite visibility, and oversee volume planning and trade spend management. Additionally, you will implement marketing strategies designed to attract new users and differentiate Red Bull from competitors. Building strong relationships with key decision-makers through regular business reviews and effective communication will be essential to your success in this role. In your capacity as a Key Account Manager, you will also enhance online execution on retailer sites by identifying and addressing performance gaps, thereby establishing Red Bull as a category leader in the eCommerce channel. You will develop category and shopper insights specific to the beverage and energy drink sectors to support online execution and share best practices that engage new online shoppers. Your role will involve conducting quarterly business reviews to assess progress against sales and financial targets, performing post-campaign analyses, and providing insights that influence merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies. Collaboration will be key in this position, as you will work with various teams, including Finance, Ops, Retail Marketing, and Shopper Insights, to ensure that business plan goals are aligned with Red Bull's overall eCommerce and Key Account strategies. You will leverage new customer account capabilities and data to identify future revenue opportunities and enhance brand marketing initiatives. Keeping all relevant stakeholders informed about eCommerce programs will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annualized eCommerce business plans that deliver Red Bull and customer account goals for Pure Play, Brick & Click, and Delivery customers.
  • Partner with Red Bull Key Account teams to influence eCommerce priorities across Brick & Click and Delivery customers.
  • Manage programming calendar, including pricing and promotions, driving onsite visibility, volume planning, and managing trade spend.
  • Implement marketing mix strategies to reach new users and differentiate against competition.
  • Convert insights into actionable strategies that achieve customer and Red Bull goals.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers through business reviews and effective communication.
  • Enhance online execution on retailer sites by identifying and closing performance gaps to achieve eCommerce priorities.
  • Develop category and shopper insights for eCommerce beverage and energy drink categories to support online execution.
  • Identify and share best practices to engage new online shoppers and promote the Red Bull brand across multiple online customers.
  • Conduct eCommerce sales and share reporting to measure the impact of projects on performance.
  • Perform quarterly business reviews to measure progress against sales and financial targets and provide competitive analysis.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis following promotions and visibility campaigns to evaluate effectiveness and improve investment opportunities.
  • Provide insights that influence merchandising, pricing, and promotion to achieve business targets.
  • Work with Red Bull Key Account teams to enhance eCommerce knowledge and ensure alignment with business plan goals.
  • Manage work streams to provide unique solutions in partnership with Finance, Ops, Retail Marketing, and Shopper Insights.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of eCommerce account management experience.
  • Experience leading strategic planning across teams, particularly in Brick & Click and Delivery Services.
  • Experience in Beverage, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), or FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industries.
  • Experience working with Digital Advertising Agencies.
  • Proficiency in using internal and external data sources for decision-making.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
