About the position

The Key Account Manager (KAM) will manage key relationships with major clients in the fashion industry, specifically focusing on women's and intimate apparel. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow and maintain client accounts, ensuring satisfaction, and driving business growth. The KAM will work closely with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver exceptional service and meet client needs, while also monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term partnership and loyalty.
  • Develop strategies to expand relationships and meet customer objectives, while also identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance analyses for key accounts, providing actionable insights to optimize client partnerships.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Organize and participate in trade shows and events in the USA and France to showcase products and strengthen client relations.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver exceptional service and meet client needs.
  • Manage and support U.S. sales representatives, ensuring alignment with goals and nurturing team success.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement and success.
  • Handle international agents and manage closeout processes for ongoing projects.
  • Ensure products and services are delivered on time and resolve any issues or complaints to maintain trust and satisfaction.
  • Play a significant role in driving new sales and fostering long-term business relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Key Account Manager or senior sales role, specifically within the fashion or clothing apparel industry (women's or intimate apparel experience is a major plus).
  • Proven ability to lead sales initiatives and teams, with a strong track record of client management success.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively influence at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools to track KPIs and account metrics.
