About the position

The Key Account Manager at ZB Importing LLC is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with key strategic customers and business partners. This role focuses on developing strategies to increase revenue while ensuring exceptional customer service and ethical business practices. The position is crucial during a period of rapid growth for the company, aiming to enhance its market position as a leading Mediterranean foods importer and distributor.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new and potential partnerships and strategically assess new opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with all customers in assigned region through face-to-face meetings and phone conversations
  • Establish trust with various buyers
  • Grow portfolio of existing items and focus on upcoming new items
  • Manage, lead and motivate broker resources to achieve collaborative objectives/goals
  • Assist with trade budget and deductions
  • Act proactively to resolve potential issues
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team on promotional materials, campaigns, or special events
  • Use technology, data, and rigorous business analysis to enhance efforts to grow a robust, and value-added network
  • Review the sales numbers for your business regularly and use them to evaluate the effectiveness of your sales and incentive programs
  • Provide accurate forecasting on a timely basis
  • Control expenses appropriate to job performance
  • Constant communication with the mainstream sales team
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher education
  • 5+ years of experience in CPG industry, Distributor Business is a plus
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and CRM
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong Analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
  • Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy
  • Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives
  • Planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, a role model for integrity
