About the position

The Key Account Manager at Regal Rexnord is responsible for driving revenue growth and market share expansion through strategic account management and technical sales. This role involves working closely with assigned accounts and distribution partners to deliver data-driven solutions, manage relationships, and identify capital projects. The position requires a strong focus on customer engagement, collaboration with internal teams, and the ability to navigate complex sales environments while maintaining a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent revenue and share growth at assigned accounts through distributor COGS and direct sales by emphasizing total cost of ownership and selling on value.
  • Identify Capital Expenditures Projects and influence specifications through data analysis.
  • Serve as the primary sales point-of-contact for assigned strategic accounts and distribution strategic account managers.
  • Maintain a cadence of review and manage bi-lateral / tri-lateral agreements for end-users and distributors.
  • Navigate large volumes of internal/distributor requests while managing competing priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a Strategic Account Management Plan (SAMP) for each account and utilize CRM to coordinate tactical actions.
  • Travel 50% to work with customers and internal resources supporting MCS growth initiatives.
  • Identify upcoming capital projects and drive specification.
  • Develop a Management Operating Process and QBR cadences with end-user accounts and distribution partners.
  • Prompt customer stakeholder groups to explore ideas and concerns through data analytics.
  • Maximize new business and marketing opportunities via execution of BU/Distributor strategies.
  • Work effectively in a team selling environment and communicate assigned account's strategy to local/field sales level.
  • Create market share expansion for distributors through E-Commerce tools.
  • Identify product gaps to promote New Product Development ideas and serve as a sales liaison with product development teams.
  • Drive specification for DiRXN / Perceptiv digital productivity platform.
  • Communicate, implement, and monitor all account initiatives and programs to ensure alignment across departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering.
  • 7+ years of commercial/technical sales and/or marketing experience preferred.
  • Willingness to travel an estimated 50%.
