About the position

The Key Account Manager for Municipal WA at Veralto is responsible for driving growth and delivering customer value within the municipal channel accounts in the assigned territory. This role involves strategic sales targeting, managing the sales process, and advocating for Hach's products and services. The position requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to execute strategic plans effectively in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, manage, and retain revenue-generating opportunities for the organization through strategic and tactical sales.
• Manage the sales process from incoming qualified leads to product and services delivery, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Develop sales territory and account plans to achieve assigned bookings and revenue targets.
• Oversee the execution of planned sales activities and capture them in Hach CRM, Salesforce.com (SFDC).
• Prepare and present a monthly funnel review utilizing SFDC to demonstrate the quality of the funnel and activity plans.
• Develop a network of customer and industry contacts to position Hach as a key member of the water management community.
• Establish and maintain relationships with engineering firms and other accounts that influence customer buying decisions.
• Participate in sales activities including customer site visits, virtual/telephone contact, trade shows, product demonstrations, and customer seminars.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of sales experience and demonstrated success in a similar role.
• B2B experience selling complex technical products and solutions.
• A degree in a science or engineering related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
• Hands-on experience using a CRM (i.e. Salesforce.com).
• Ability to travel up to 70% of time within the assigned territory.
• Strong customer focus, flexible and adaptable to changing environment and needs.
