About the position

The Key Account Manager for the Office Channel at 3M will play a crucial role in driving sales and managing key customer relationships within the Consumer Business Group in Germany. This position involves negotiating agreements, achieving financial targets, analyzing market trends, and ensuring effective execution of brand strategies at the customer level. The role requires collaboration with various departments to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate annual agreements on prices and conditions and secure commercial collaboration.
  • Achieve agreed annual financial targets and customer-related sales KPIs for designated customers.
  • Track and analyze market and customer evolution while monitoring competition to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure perfect execution of all category and brand strategies at the customer level.
  • Handle operational management of assigned customers, including follow-up on forecasts, evaluation of promotions, and analysis of sell-in/out.
  • Ensure efficient communication with other departments such as Customer Service, Shopper Marketing, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration with a focus on sales and/or marketing.
  • Experience in sales, with a successful track record in a Key Account Manager role in the Consumer Business environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in German and English languages.
