About the position

The position involves working closely with various customers, including Server System Integrators, Cloud Service Providers, Data Centers, and Home Appliance manufacturers, to address technical challenges and business goals related to server rack solutions. The role requires strong sales leadership, account management, and collaboration with internal teams to develop proposals and maintain relationships with key influencers in customer organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Server System Integrator customers, CSP, Data Center, Hyperscale, and Home Appliance customers to understand technical challenges and propose solutions.
  • Compile and build detailed business and technical proposals in response to opportunities and RFQ proposals.
  • Provide strong sales leadership, support, account management, and direction for key account customers.
  • Establish working relationships with global customer service, design engineering, quality, and production teams to support account management needs.
  • Orchestrate and synchronize business development initiatives and worldwide account management by collaborating with regional account managers and other business development team members.
  • Identify, map, and maintain deep and positive relationships with key influencers within customer organizations.
  • Recommend new product offerings and identify new opportunities by supervising and reporting the voice-of-customer to the product marketing team.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is helpful or applicable sales experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in OEM or ODM sales and business development, focusing on technical product solutions in the data center space.
  • Ability to work 100% remotely from a home office and travel 15% of the time nationally.
  • Ability to discuss product design and improvement internally and externally.
  • Proven success in establishing strong connections with large, key enterprise clients.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills focused on building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools, preferably SFDC.
