About the position

The position involves managing and growing accounts within Givaudan's Taste and Functional Ingredients business team, focusing on developing customer relationships and generating new business opportunities. The role requires strategic engagement with key decision-makers, account management, and collaboration on large commercial projects, all while working remotely from preferred locations in the Midwest, South East, or South West.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate customer relationships with important decision-makers to position Givaudan as a preferred supplier.
  • Lead and influence strategic account planning and develop comprehensive action plans for main accounts.
  • Analyze brand strategies, positioning strengths and weaknesses, and competitive data to understand customer potential.
  • Manage the brief pipeline to achieve growth plans.
  • Strategically manage large commercial projects and ensure visibility at customer sites through product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements following company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Management, Marketing or Food Science.
  • 6+ years experience in sales, marketing or customer relationship experience in food or related industries.
  • Experience incorporating comprehensive knowledge and analysis in presentations.
  • Understanding of the ingredient industry, including consumer and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of customer strategies, programs, commercial needs and product launch processes and competitor activity.
