About the position

The Key Account Manager - Workplace Solutions at Envestnet is responsible for high-level relationship management, serving as a client liaison to ensure client satisfaction and effective communication. This role involves proactive and reactive management of client relationships, establishing connections with executives, and providing exceptional service to both clients and internal partners. The position requires a deep understanding of clients' business models and service needs, as well as the ability to consult and track enhancement requests to improve client engagement with Envestnet's products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client retention and satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage client issues and concerns, resolving them before escalation.
  • Establish relationships with executives and senior business owners.
  • Understand clients' business models and service needs deeply.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and all departments within Envestnet.
  • Communicate client needs and strategies to internal partners effectively.
  • Implement programs leveraging best practices for assigned clients.
  • Consult with clients to ensure adoption and engagement of products and services.
  • Track enhancement requests and prioritize them with relevant teams.
  • Plan and conduct client meetings and strategy sessions to discuss performance and future plans.
  • Lead internal calls with client support teams to resolve open items quickly.
  • Conduct annual business reviews with assigned clients.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive client profiles outlining key contacts and initiatives.
  • Work with onboarding teams to ensure best practices are adopted during implementation.
  • Identify sales and expansion opportunities and facilitate introductions to the sales team.
  • Provide regular updates and business reviews to senior management and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Adhere to Envestnet's legal, compliance, and administrative policies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a relationship management role.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technology or financial services field.
  • Familiarity with financial technology or financial services companies.
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead discussions driving strategy and solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proven track record of managing client expectations.
  • Strong networking skills within accounts from C-Level down.
  • Strong persuasion skills and leadership presence.
  • Ability to create confidence and trust with clients.
  • Articulate the value proposition of financial services technology products.
  • Self-starter with perseverance and dedication.
  • Team player mentality with a commitment to quality and detail.
  • Superb verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to identify technology gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Strength in negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 35%.
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime for client support.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of project management software such as Mavenlink or MS Project, Jira.
  • Knowledge of Envestnet's technology, products, and solutions from previous experience.
