About the position

The Key Account Manager at Cirkul, Inc. is responsible for driving growth with new and existing retail partners, ensuring the company meets its financial goals while effectively presenting the brand to consumers. This role involves strategic planning, relationship management, and operational efficiency to enhance customer onboarding and fulfillment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy and execution to grow and maximize existing accounts.
  • Prioritize and win future accounts, leading efficient customer onboarding processes.
  • Build creative strategies to engage new retail partners to exceed sales and profit goals.
  • Propose recommendations to senior management for alignment and present to retailers for buy-in.
  • Work closely with the Retail Ops team to ensure timely and complete shipments.
  • Improve retail order, fulfillment, and invoicing processes for efficiency.
  • Champion retail customers internally and support DTC growth.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with retail partners by understanding and delivering on their needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years experience in sales as an account manager with blue chip CPG and/or housewares products in a high growth environment
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing new and existing retail accounts
  • Experience working with retailers in grocery, club, drug, sporting goods, and other priority channels
  • Experience with trade spend management, retailer systems, and new vendor set up
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many cross functional departments
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytical, responsive, and able to consistently solve problems
  • Customer first attitude to handle all requests in a timely manner
  • Deep understanding of key trends in retail and the beverage/consumer products industry
  • Can do attitude with no reservations doing what it takes to get the job done
  • History of managing multiple accounts in different classes of trade simultaneously.
