About the position

The Key Account Manager at TAMKO Building Products LLC is responsible for managing and coordinating all pricing functions and account administration for assigned accounts. This role involves resolving discrepancies, maintaining partnerships with local business organizations, and collaborating with sales personnel to increase product usage and sales. The position requires effective communication and training skills to educate customers about TAMKO products and their installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all pricing functions for assigned accounts.
• Administer account rebates, incentives, marketing allowances, and various programs.
• Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, credit memos, and warranty claims.
• Inspect and collect information for product warranty claims as needed.
• Maintain partnerships with local trade associations and attend trade shows.
• Keep distributor showroom displays stocked with current literature and samples.
• Coordinate strategic business plans with other TAMKO sales personnel.
• Return all communications promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate and attend key distributor and contractor events to promote TAMKO products.
• Develop and execute a sales call strategy to maximize product usage.
• Provide field support and recruitment for TAMKO's Pro Contractor Program.
• Conduct product knowledge training for TAMKO customers.
• Demonstrate selling features and installation processes for TAMKO products.
• Utilize Salesforce for reporting customer activity and pipeline planning.
• Prepare monthly activity reports and participate in accountability meetings.
• Report sales expenses, customer call planning, and competitor research.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
• At least four years of related experience or training.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to travel by air transportation and stay overnight as needed.
