About the position

The Key Account Manager (KAM) at Lift Solutions is responsible for driving sustainable growth and profitability within assigned customer accounts. This role involves cultivating and nurturing strategic relationships with key accounts, leveraging industry expertise, and providing exceptional customer service to identify and close business opportunities related to overhead crane inspection, repair, modernization, and new equipment sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and deepen customer relationships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Understand customer needs and pain points to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of products and services.
  • Proactively seek out new business opportunities and drive revenue growth within assigned accounts.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to identify potential solutions and tailor proposals accordingly.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize profitability.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and forecasting to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at customer organizations.
  • Build trust and credibility through exceptional customer service and industry expertise.
  • Network with industry professionals to expand your professional network and generate leads.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with overhead crane inspection, repair, modernization, and new equipment sales.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Certification in sales or customer service.
