About the position

The Key Account Sales Leader is responsible for building and maintaining long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with assigned strategic accounts. This role involves understanding and collaborating with internal functions to ensure customer success in achieving revenue and profitability goals, as well as strategic planning and aligning sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement growth strategies to increase OC Door's profitable revenue with the assigned strategic accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a solid and trusting relationship with the strategic account, building relationships with key decision makers and understanding internal organizational dynamics.
  • Lead Joint Business Planning process for assigned account, deploying mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
  • Work with cross-functional internal resources to develop appropriate account sales support, product management needs, operational advancements, and execution of strategic account growth initiatives.
  • Manage direct reports (Key Account Managers) to execute Strategic Account Joint Business plan in their respective markets.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of previous experience in millwork, lumber sales, doors, door components, door frames, or custom wood components.
  • Ability to convey expertise in woodwork, manufacturing, door production, and other millwork capabilities to educate customers.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Ability to read CAD drawings accurately and convert them into a consultative sale.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and phone etiquette.
  • Highly organized, self-starter, and problem solver.
  • Strong math and conceptual skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and a high level of proficiency in Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Expert level of Millwork and Door Systems strongly preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $140,000 + bonus + benefits, with potential increases based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
