About the position

The Key Account Surgical Specialist at LifeNet Health is responsible for promoting and distributing wound care tissues and instruments within the designated territory, primarily focusing on the NYC Metro and Long Island areas. This role involves engaging with various stakeholders, including surgeons and hospital personnel, to achieve sales objectives while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and respect for the tissue donation process. The specialist will also collaborate with sales directors and regional managers to develop and implement strategic plans to grow the hospital business and ensure revenue targets are met.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, target, and develop relationships within key markets.
  • Maintain growth of the hospital business within the designated territory.
  • Work in a hospital-based environment to perform cases on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with Area Sales Directors and Regional Managers on overall hospital strategy.
  • Plan and implement strategies to meet revenue budget and strategic goals for the territory.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and contract/pricing negotiations with Supply Chain/Purchasing entities.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities such as audits, reconciliations, and sales analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS)
  • 5 years of sales experience delivering against a quota.
  • 3 years of sales experience in an operating room setting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
  • 5 years with a proven track record as a Territory Manager or prior sales experience in biotech, life sciences, pharma, or medical device industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Teams; Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and strategize to meet goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interface with physicians, surgeons, and hospitals.
