About the position

The Key Holder/Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while achieving individual and store sales goals. This full-time position involves various tasks including managing merchandise, operating the cash register, and adhering to store policies. The role requires a commitment to teamwork and maintaining store standards to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service according to S4L standards on the selling floor, in the fitting room, and at the cash wrap.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals.
• Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness.
• Work with garments including receiving, ticketing, stocking, replenishing, folding, hanging, merchandising, and displaying per S4L guidelines.
• Ring sales on the register, process cash and credit payments, issue receipts, and pack merchandise for customers.
• Communicate regularly with the on-duty supervisor.
• Follow the store's opening and closing procedures.
• Open and close cash registers, counting cash, processing charge slips, coupons, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits.
• Successfully complete training courses.
• Participate in stock inventory.
• Adhere to loss prevention policies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED is essential.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• 1 year of retail clothing experience required.
• 1 year of cash handling experience required.
• Ability to supervise and lead a team.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in team management.
• Technical aptitude to use Point of Sale software and basic computer skills.
