About the position

This position involves providing exemplary customer service in a retail environment, focusing on building relationships and fostering loyalty among customers. The role includes interacting with customers to inform them about products and promotions, recommending products based on individual needs, and managing day-to-day operations of the store.

Responsibilities

• Ensure exemplary service in a friendly environment where customers are top priority.
• Build relationships and inspire loyalty among customers.
• Interact with customers to provide information about products, services, and promotions.
• Recommend products based on individual customer needs, preferences, and budget.
• Perform day-to-day operations of the retail store, including inventory management and store upkeep.
• Communicate consistently with the store owner and Assistant Store Manager to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Contribute to sales growth by participating in product knowledge and training opportunities.
• Maintain a high standard of store appearance, including merchandising and cleanliness.
• Accurately complete all sales transactions and balance the cash drawer daily.
• Process all POS/Cash transactions according to company policy and procedures.
• Stay current with market trends and maintain a professional image.

Requirements

• Possess a cheerful working attitude.
• 1 year of retail experience is a plus.
• Have a passion for the beauty industry.
• Work well independently and with others.
• Thrive in pivoting to meet customer needs.
• Familiar with POS systems and willing to learn modern technologies.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours per day and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Can work a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Dependable and report to work according to schedule.
• Cosmetology license and/or experience with hair extensions/wigs are a plus, but not required.
