About the position

We are seeking a talented and passionate Keyboardist to join our dynamic team, focusing on Christian music, particularly in Praise and Worship. This role is essential for enhancing the overall sound and atmosphere of our music ministry, contributing to memorable experiences for our audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform live music during rehearsals and performances, ensuring a high level of musicality and professionalism.
• Collaborate with the musical director and other band members to arrange and adapt music as needed for various performances.
• Attend rehearsals regularly to practice and refine pieces, providing input on musical arrangements.
• Maintain and care for keyboard instruments, ensuring they are in optimal working condition for performances.
• Engage with the audience during performances to enhance the overall experience.
• Stay updated on new music trends and techniques that can be incorporated into the service.

Requirements

• Proficiency in playing keyboard instruments with a strong understanding of music theory.
• Experience in live performance settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to read sheet music and improvise as needed during performances.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other musicians and the praise team.
• Creativity and adaptability to work in various musical genres and styles.
• A passion for performing arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional musical experiences.
