About the position

The Keyholder position at Aveda is a part-time role focused on supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the efficient operation of the store. The Keyholder will lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and mentoring the sales team to meet sales targets. Responsibilities include cash handling, store opening and closing, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors for the sales team.
  • Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
  • Conduct cash reconciliation at the start and end of the day.
  • Open and close the store on a rotational basis.

Requirements

  • Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Previous retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation, is desirable.
  • Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring, is desirable.
  • Ability to work flexible retail hours, including days, nights, and weekends.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with retail point-of-sale software.
