About the position

Away is hiring a Keyholder to lead our Chicago, Gold Coast team. The Retail team creates a transformative experience for each customer that visits one of our seventeen stores. We build connections with our customers through product education, world-class service standards, and operational excellence. This position is an exciting opportunity to join a widely celebrated brand that is looking to continue to innovate and iterate. We're looking for candidates that are excited to provide best-in-class support to all of our customers from their arrival until their departure.

Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and develop a team of retail associates
• Onboard new hires while coaching existing team members
• Communicate Away's values and brand philosophy to the team and customers
• Ensure the team provides the best customer service possible
• Take ownership of in-store processes and operations
• Help run an efficient and growing retail business; optimize store operations and customer journey
• Be a point person for HQ counterparts and colleagues; assist in marketing events and programming at the store

Requirements

• Able to pull, push, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds throughout the duration of a work shift
• Able to stand/be on feet for extended periods of time throughout the duration of a work shift
• Able to bend, squat, twist, and reach as needed throughout the duration of a work shift
