About the position

The Key Holder position at The Cosmetics Company Store is a part-time role focused on supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring the efficient operation of the store. The Key Holder will lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and coaching the sales team to meet sales targets. Responsibilities include cash handling, store opening and closing, and fostering a positive retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily operations.
• Model behaviors for the sales team to provide exceptional customer service.
• Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve sales and customer service targets.
• Perform cash reconciliation at the start and end of the day.
• Open and close the store on a rotational basis.

Requirements

• Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
• Ability to provide inspirational and personalized customer service.
• Desirable experience in retail operations, including cash reconciliation.
• Desirable previous supervisory experience with coaching and mentoring.
• Ability to work flexible retail hours, including nights and weekends.
• Experience with retail point-of-sale software.
