About the position

The Restaurant General Manager at Fulenwider KFC/Taco Bell is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards, and delivering exceptional guest service. This role involves managing product preparation, guest relations, inventory, team management, and financial accountability, all while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily operations of the restaurant and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Manage product preparation and delivery, guest relations, and restaurant maintenance.
  • Oversee inventory management and control waste effectively.
  • Recruit, train, and retain hourly managers and team members.
  • Ensure financial accountability and maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Interact with guests during peak hours to ensure quality service and product availability.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and maintain cash control techniques.
  • Implement routine preventative maintenance programs for restaurant equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; College or University Degree preferred.
  • 1-4 years supervisory experience in a food or retail environment, including Profit & Loss responsibility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Conflict resolution skills and exceptional team building capability.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
  • Basic personal computer literacy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in guest services and conflict management.
  • Knowledge of restaurant equipment operation.
