About the position

The KHC Operations Manager at Kroger Health & Wellness is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Kroger Health Connect (KHC) to ensure operational excellence. This role involves managing various operational functions, ensuring adherence to best practices, executing company strategies, and achieving financial targets. The manager will demonstrate the company's core values and lead a team to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Kroger Health Connect (KHC) to ensure operational excellence.
  • Provide expertise in all operations-related functions, including labor management, waste, training, standards, facility maintenance, and risk management.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties, complete performance reviews, and provide feedback.
  • Oversee KHC Supervisors, promoting teamwork and success among teams.
  • Develop action plans utilizing scorecards to make data-driven decisions, ensuring execution of business plans and performance targets.
  • Serve as a role model for the Customer 1st promise.
  • Ensure best practices are being executed while providing feedback to the corporate team regarding these practices.
  • Seek areas for growth, waste reduction, and increased efficiency by reviewing financial reports and labor management tools.
  • Supervise scheduling practices to ensure departments are staffed and aligned with the prescribed staffing model.
  • Ensure associates receive appropriate training and are capable of resolving issues independently.
  • Teach, train, and model all applicable company initiatives.
  • Support compliance with recordkeeping and occurrence reporting.
  • Identify areas for recognition of strong performance and/or areas in need of additional training/development.
  • Provide mentorship for associates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • 5+ years experience as a pharmacy coordinator or Central Services Supervisor with outstanding results.
  • 2+ years experience as a pharmacy coordinator or Central Services Supervisor.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, organization, problem solving, computer, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and peer groups.
  • Ability to exhibit a professional presence and confident demeanor to achieve/sustain positive working relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.
  • Previous operations management experience.
