About the position

We are seeking a caring and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team at Kid City USA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating young children and creating a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students, helping them build the skills and confidence they need to succeed. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with our preschool curriculum, incorporating various teaching methods and activities to promote learning and creativity. You will provide individualized attention to students, recognizing and addressing their unique needs and abilities, while maintaining a safe, organized, and tidy classroom environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. In this role, you will utilize classroom management strategies to create a positive and respectful atmosphere, ensuring students are well-behaved and focused on learning. Collaboration with colleagues is essential to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience for our students. You will monitor student progress and adjust lesson plans as needed to meet their individual needs, fostering a sense of community and social responsibility by encouraging students to work together and respect one another. Establishing relationships with parents and guardians is also a key aspect of this position, as you will keep them informed about their child's progress and involve them in the educational process whenever possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Experience working with students of varying ages and abilities, particularly in a preschool or childcare setting.
  • Proven experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
  • Familiarity with Montessori or similar educational approaches.
  • Strong knowledge of child welfare and development principles.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and/or other languages relevant to the student population.
  • Certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field (e.g., CPR, First Aid).
