About the position
The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch are looking for individuals who can help create a fun and safe environment for our members' children at our Kids Club. This part-time position requires availability to work flexible hours, including weekday mornings, evening, weekends, and holidays. The role involves assisting the Communications & Family Events Manager with the Kids Club program, ensuring the protection and safety of the children in their care while providing a positive and engaging experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist and supervise Kids Club activities.
- Thoroughly enjoy working with children and ensure their safety and good conduct.
- Be responsible for proper care of equipment and facilities.
- Maintain excellent friendly daily staff-parent/guardian relationships.
- Exhibit appropriate dress and language for working with children.
- Plan safe and fun activities for the children.
- Display appropriate and mature behavior, serving as a role model for the children.
- Provide a safe and healthy environment for the children.
- Assist Communications & Family Events Managers with day-to-day responsibilities, as requested.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in high school or equivalent or have a high school diploma or GED.
- Able to push, pull, or lift up to 20 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills; able to speak, write, and read proficient English.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience working with children is required.
