About the position

The Kids Creative Director (KD) role focuses on enhancing the EastLake Kids program by infusing fun and energy into its activities. The KD will collaborate closely with the Kids Pastor to manage the program's calendar, plan events, and provide organizational support, ensuring a vibrant and engaging environment for children and their families.

Responsibilities

• Help build the EastLake Kids brand and culture by adding fun and momentum into the existing Kids Calendar.
• Manage curriculum, calendar planning, and added activities along with the EastLake Kids team.
• Plan, execute, and manage extra events that fit within EastLake Kids scope, such as Blocktober and Family Connect Events.
• Recruit and lead an Event Team to assist with events.
• Manage communication points within the EastLake Kids team and the larger church.
• Serve as a team player on the Kids Team to help the team thrive.
• Act as a project manager to oversee details and culture from a high-level perspective.

• Ability to plan and execute events of various sizes that honor the culture and mission of EastLake Kids.
• Ability to multitask a wide variety of details simultaneously.
• Ability to proactively identify and solve problems with a sense of ownership.
• Ability to self-lead efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to manage a budget and spending within that budget.
• Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the organizational chart, including parents and children.
