About the position

Amazing Athletes of Northern Nevada is seeking a Multi-Sport and Physical Education Youth Sports Coach to lead enrichment programs for children aged 18 months to elementary school age. The role involves teaching the fundamentals of 10 different sports while promoting healthy eating and nutrition. Coaches will work in various locations across Reno, Sparks, and Carson City, ensuring a safe and fun environment for children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe class environment
• Provide individual attention to ensure every child is successful
• Use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun
• Use positive and age-appropriate language to encourage children
• Transport and lift sports equipment as needed
• Attend regular training and follow the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual & Curriculum

Requirements

• Must enjoy working with kids aged 18 months to 6 years
• Be physically active and have high energy
• Maintain a positive attitude while on your feet for hours
• Ability to transport and lift sports equipment (35 to 45 lbs)
• Open to feedback and continuous improvement
