About the position

As an EPC Project Engineer at Kiewit Nuclear Solutions, you will oversee the administrative and technical aspects of project construction, managing a team of field and office engineers. This role requires strong interpersonal and information management skills, acting as the main conduit of information between the project manager and the team regarding technical, cost, and schedule information. You will also have the opportunity to develop team members for future project management roles, making your contributions essential to the operations within the Northwest region of Kiewit Nuclear Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform project scheduling.
• Manage revenue, cost, and cash flow management.
• Manage temp engineering.
• Client relations.
• Manage advanced work packaging (AWP).
• Supervise construction engineering staff.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years' work experience in construction.
• Experience managing engineers.
• Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
• Passion for safety, with the ability to help ensure that nobody gets hurt.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with P6 or equivalent schedule software.
• Experience with Autocad or equivalent CAD software.
• Proficiency in use of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
