About the position

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection systems for DOE facilities.
• Develop design documents including piping and instrument diagrams and equipment data sheets.
• Ensure compliance with IBC and NFPA standards, including NFPA 13, NFPA 72, NFPA 801, NFPA 101, and NFPA 241.
• Interface and coordinate with other engineering and construction disciplines.
• Collaborate with clients in the development of design and installation of fire protection systems.

Requirements

• Experience in fire protection system design.
• Working knowledge of IBC and NFPA standards.
• Ability to develop design documents such as piping and instrument diagrams and equipment data sheets.
