About the position

The Kindergarten/1st Grade Teacher position at Harman School is designed for an enthusiastic educator who will foster a positive learning environment for young students. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for kindergarten and 1st-grade students.
• Assess and monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational program.
• Maintain classroom management and discipline in accordance with school policies.

Requirements

• WV Teacher Certification in Elementary Education K-6 or Multi Subject K-8.
• Experience in teaching elementary students is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
