Responsibilities

• Effectively teach ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science curriculum for Kindergarten
• Plan activities and lessons
• Collaborate on and implement curriculum activities and lessons
• Maintain strong classroom management and positive behavior skills
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Organize and manage time efficiently
• Portray a positive role model to students
• Grade students' work and assign term grades
• Collect and interpret student data
• Modify lessons based on student data
• Utilize special education strategies and methodology

Requirements

• Valid MA Teacher License
• Bachelor's Degree in Education
• Knowledge of the Curriculum Frameworks for Kindergarten
• Effective instructional techniques
• Classroom management skills
• Experience with inclusion
• Strong communication skills
• Good organization and time management skills
