About the position

As a Kindergarten Teacher at KinderCare Learning Companies, you will play a crucial role in implementing the curriculum and state requirements tailored to the unique needs of each child. Responsibilities

  • Implement KinderCare's curriculum and State Kindergarten requirements tailored to each child's needs.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and learn.
  • Partner and communicate with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
  • Support the center's success by collaborating with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.

Requirements

  • Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (preferred) and meet NAEYC and state Kindergarten candidacy requirements.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
  • Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency and lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
  • Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate effectively with children and parents.
