About the position

The Kindergarten Teacher position at the Mt. Lebanon Extended Day Program offers an exciting opportunity to work with elementary-aged children in a kindergarten enrichment program. The role focuses on fostering social and emotional learning through various engaging activities, including recreational games, STEAM projects, and arts & crafts. The position is full-time, with hours from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday, during the school year and summer program.

Responsibilities

• Set up for daily scheduled activities
• Assist children with homework assignments
• Facilitate STEAM related clubs and activities for a group of up to 12 children

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with children
• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree
• 2 years Child Development Associate Certification
• Entry level
