About the position

The Kindergarten Teacher at EduServe is responsible for creating and implementing a flexible program and classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. This role involves developing lesson plans, establishing effective rapport with students, staff, and parents, and motivating students to develop essential skills and knowledge. The teacher will adhere to the company's educational philosophy and goals while maximizing student achievement through differentiated instruction and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a program of instruction that adheres to the company's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
• Develop purposeful and appropriate lesson plans that maximize time on task.
• Present subject matter to students to maximize learning opportunities and provide real-world examples.
• Review student records to understand each student's abilities and needs.
• Maintain accurate and complete student records.
• Utilize a variety of student learning modalities and differentiated instruction in lessons.
• Conduct frequent diagnostic assessments of student learning.
• Assess student strengths and weaknesses and provide appropriate activities to address their needs.
• Coordinate class field trips as required.
• Prepare students for state-required achievement assessments.
• Stay current in subject matter knowledge and learning theory.
• Assist in the ongoing curriculum revision process and selection of instructional materials.
• Establish cooperative relations and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
• Possession of valid teaching certification.
• Minimum of one to three years of successful teaching experience.
• Command of subject-specific content and theoretical knowledge of learning theory.
• Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills.
• Successful results of criminal and employment background check.
