About the position

The Kindergarten General Studies Teacher at STREAM Early Learning Center & Academy is responsible for providing a joyful and engaging educational experience for young children. The role emphasizes social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development through innovative teaching methods, including interdisciplinary project-based learning. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to create meaningful learning experiences and foster a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum utilizing interdisciplinary project-based learning aligned to CCLS and NGLS Standards.
• Create a classroom environment that encourages social emotional learning and builds a community of learners.
• Utilize a variety of instructional groupings, including whole group, small group, and one-on-one instruction to meet the needs of students.
• Collect and analyze student data to drive instruction and provide differentiated instruction based on student strengths and needs.
• Demonstrate a commitment to developing pedagogical practice and participate in professional growth activities.

Requirements

• B.A. or M.A. Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
• Minimum of 1 year classroom experience (preferred).
• Strong classroom management skills rooted in positive discipline and responsive classroom practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, including Google Classroom.
• Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

• Full-time position with a salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year.
