About the position

As a Kindergarten Teacher at Charter Schools USA (CSUSA), you will play a vital role in inspiring and motivating young learners. Your primary responsibility will be to create and implement a flexible program and classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. You will develop lesson plans, establish effective rapport with students, staff, and parents, and motivate students to develop essential skills and knowledge, ensuring they have a strong educational foundation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a program of instruction that adheres to the company's philosophy and goals.
• Create purposeful and appropriate lesson plans that maximize time on task.
• Present subject matter to students to enhance learning opportunities.
• Review student records to understand each student's abilities and needs.
• Maintain accurate and complete student records.
• Utilize a variety of student learning modalities and differentiated instruction in lessons.
• Conduct frequent diagnostic assessments of student learning.
• Assess student strengths and weaknesses and provide appropriate activities to address their needs.
• Coordinate class field trips as required.
• Prepare students for state-required achievement assessments.
• Stay current in subject matter knowledge and learning theory.
• Assist in the ongoing curriculum revision process.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Possession of valid teaching certification.
• 1 to 3 years of successful teaching experience, including student teaching internship experience.
• Strong command of subject-specific content and learning theory.
• Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills.
• Successful results of criminal and employment background check.
