About the position

The Kindergarten Teacher at Engaging Young Minds Academy (EYM Academy) is responsible for fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This role involves implementing a nationally recognized curriculum that supports the social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development of children. The teacher will also mentor less experienced staff and engage with parents to ensure the best educational outcomes for students.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom.
• Implement EYM's curriculum tailored to the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and learn.
• Communicate and partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support the center's success by collaborating with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Child Development Associate Certification.
• CPR Certification.
• Classroom experience in early childhood education.
