About the position

The Kindergarten Teacher at Great Hearts Academies is responsible for providing a high-quality classical liberal arts education to young students in a collaborative classroom environment. This role involves working closely with an Apprentice Teacher to ensure that each scholar receives the best educational experience possible, fostering a love for learning and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom instruction and manage student learning activities.
• Collaborate with the Apprentice Teacher to create a supportive learning environment.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages student engagement and participation.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Teaching Certification.
• Experience working with students, preferably in a classroom setting.
• Knowledge of teaching methodologies and classroom management techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CPT coding and teaching methodologies.
• Familiarity with classical liberal arts education principles.
