About the position

Crème de la Crème of Peoria, AZ is seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join their Early Learning Center. This role focuses on nurturing young children while implementing a comprehensive curriculum that promotes learning through various activities. The position emphasizes building positive relationships with children and their families, maintaining classroom management, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nurturing care and continuous supervision of assigned children while executing the Crème curriculum.
• Create, submit, and implement approved lesson plans and curriculum, and complete Daily Reports.
• Maintain the upkeep of classrooms and equipment inside and outside.
• Assist children with dressing, toileting, and diapering needs, ensuring cleanliness.
• Build positive relationships and practice open communication with parents, co-workers, and management.
• Interact positively and developmentally appropriately with children, role modeling appropriate behavior.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role, including passing a background check and being at least 18 years of age.
• Deep desire to work with young children and their families in early childhood education.
• Passion for making a difference in children's lives.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in early childhood education or working in a child care center is a plus, but not required for all positions.
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred).
