About the position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong understanding of kitchen functionality. As a Kitchen Designer, you will work closely with clients to create beautiful and practical kitchen spaces that meet their needs and preferences, ensuring a positive experience throughout the design process.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for their kitchen space.
• Utilize design software in order to create detailed kitchen layouts and 3D renderings.
• Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, appliances, and lighting design to enhance the overall kitchen aesthetic.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project details, and design specifications.
• Assist clients with inside sales by upselling products that complement their kitchen designs.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and innovative design techniques to provide the best solutions for clients.

Requirements

• Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of retail math principles to assist in pricing and product selection.
• Ability to build rapport with clients while maintaining professionalism throughout the sales process.
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in designing functional spaces that meet client needs.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to accommodate client schedules and project timelines.
