About the position

The Kitchen/Bath Designer will assist in all aspects of the design process, focusing on creating modern and functional kitchen and bathroom spaces. This part-time role requires a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for design, who can collaborate with other designers and manage projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with other Kitchen/Bath Designers to generate design concepts, layouts, and renderings.
• Take measurements for design accuracy.
• Learn and work with various products' specific design software.
• Maintain detailed written notes and communication logs related to projects.
• Participate in the design process.

Requirements

• One year of kitchen/bath design experience.
• Proven home design skills, especially kitchens (a portfolio of work is preferred).
• Proficiency in 3D software (Sketchup, 20X20).
• Understanding of basic construction processes and ability to read construction drawings.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Possess a positive attitude and willingness to work hard.
• Be open to new ideas.
• Must be honest, professional, proactive, and respectful to customers and coworkers.
• Must be local to the Milpitas area.
